It was God who introduced the birth of not only laws but freedom itself. But the sad part that so many people in history are honored for fighting slavery.

God sent Moses to free his own people from slavery and he's publicly remembered for this.

Nothing wrong with that but in all due fairness the glory should be made publicly in honor of God.
