Before I went to Mount Sinai there were bombings in the cities I was going to Cairo and Sharm El Sheik it was a horrible tragedy. My family and friends pleaded with me not to go but i told them I had my faith and God would protect me from all harm and I came back safe.
When I was in Sharm El Sheik it was 150 miles to Mount Sinai I was on a tour bus with people I didn't know I was the only American on the bus. It left 10 at night pitch dark in the desert Outside of the bus lights there was only the moonlight. In those days I had a TracFone.
I couldn't text or email and people were still worried I told them that Daniel was put in a den of lions he had faith and walked out safe. I was asked why Mount Sinai? I wanted to go a historic mountain and Mt Everest was out of the question pushing 49 years old I'd fail.
