What I found disturbing when Hollywood was mocking God that the guests at the event were laughing with the host. They sure weren't laughing when their houses burned to the ground. What I feel could have been worse that night if they praised false gods and goddesses in the event. Exodus 20 makes it clear that God is a jealous God and the ones who laughed first and were sad later better think twice.
